Dear Families,
We can hardly believe that this is the last Monday Message of the school year. As we pull together the last bits of information to send you we can’t help but reminisce about the wonderful year we have had together with you and your learners.
It started with team building in every grade level, from senior sunrise to our TK/K/1 move to their new dedicated building all the way to our middle school Renn Faire & Civil War, our 2nd and 3rd grade learners’ dinosaurs, and our 4th and 5th grade learners’ tiny house. We have helped our learners send a real life science experiment into space, and we have graduated our fourth class of seniors, our largest class to date. There have been tears of frustration along the way, but even more tears of joy and tears of pride at all your children have shown they are capable of accomplishing.
Each of your learners has brought to us a special piece of the mosaic that makes up our school, and we hope that we have done all we can to make them feel welcomed, encouraged and loved.
To our graduates, please stay connected to us and update us on how you are doing. To our younger learners, we can’t wait to see you in our halls again on the first day of school, August 22. Over the summer we encourage you to spend time outdoors, explore something new, and sharpen your saw!
We hope you will check in with us over the summer, as we will with you. And we encourage you to meet up at the 4th of July parade, the Santa Clarita concerts in the park, our Summer Open House July 25 and our family picnic on August 12.
We know that each grade level has a fun-filled last week of school planned for your learners, but we hope each of them has the time to connect with the leadership team this week and say “Happy Summer” to us as we wish you the same.
