Kai Harnett (7th grade) is a goalie on his travel hockey team, The Mariners. Kai participated in the October Saves Goalie Challenge to raise money to fight pediatric and breast cancer. Kai secured pledges from people to donate to the fundraiser for every save Kai made in net during a hockey game in the month of October. Kai lost his grandmother to cancer last year and is very dedicated to this cause.
Kai’s mom would like to thank all who contributed to Kai’s fundraising for the Goalie Saves October challenge. With your help, he raised over $830 for cancer charities. He ended up in the top 100 goalies in the nation participating in the challenge. She’s real proud of him and everyone who helped with their pledges. Thanks again!
