Every morning when we are bringing our kids to school there is a young man, Jenson Shearin, and his mother Mary Beth Shearin, who have already arrived, put on their orange safety vests and are standing guard as our SCVi families cross to the lower school.
Some of you might think this is a paid position, but no, the Shearins volunteer EVERY DAY to help keep our parking lot intersection safe. So next time you are crossing in front of their STOP sign say hello and maybe a thank you to some of the many amazing volunteers who make our school great.
