Staff Spotlight: Chrissie Flores

This is Ms. Chrissie’s second year of teaching with iLEAD. She worked as a preschool teacher prior to joining the iLEAD team. She was overjoyed to learn that she would be the facilitator for a K/1 split when she was hired, as her passion is in teaching the “littles”. She enjoys incorporating art into her lessons and strongly believes that young children learn best through play and interaction. She received her B.A. in Child and Adolescent Development, and her M.A. in Educational Administration from California State University, Northridge.

In her free time, Chrissie enjoys traveling and reading. Traveling allows her to gain a greater appreciation for different cultures, people, and food, while creating memories that last a lifetime. Books allow her a similar experience while in the comfort of her home!
