4th & 5th Graders to Visit Fort Tejon Overnight!
April 18-19 or April 21-22
Hey, 4th & 5th graders! Don’t forget to turn in your permission slip and payment for the Fort Tejon Living History Overnight! Two dates are available: April 18-19 or April 21-22. Learners will immerse themselves in California history as “new recruits” in the U.S. Army stationed at Fort Tejon. With an emphasis on hands-on learning and teamwork, learners will experience life in 1856 as they try their hand at blacksmithing, candle-making, carpentry, adobe brick-making, and more.
Adults are encouraged to join in the fun! We need a minimum of six adults and 20 learners per date for the program to run. Space is limited to 40 learners per date. Turn in your permission slip and contract to your facilitator ASAP.
