IB News

Last week, I met with all of the SCVi 10th-grade learners to talk to them about the benefits of following the IB program in their junior year. They were fantastic listeners and asked a lot of insightful questions about the way that the program works at the upper school. The IB curriculum at SCVi is open to all learners, and we strongly encourage everyone to participate. I’m excited about the levels of enthusiasm that the learners had, particularly the group who voluntarily went into their break time to ask me more questions.

Please do come to our IB information morning on Tuesday, April 2nd, at 9 a.m. We are looking into holding an equivalent evening event for parents who are unable to make the morning time. If this would be of interest to you, please email me at abbie.neall@scvi-k12.org, so that we can gauge interest.

This week is the final deadline for mathematics coursework For all pending IB assessments, click here. Mock examinations will be held for senior learners for the week beginning March 11th. Details of this will be in next week’s Monday Message.
