Flag Ceremony and Welcome Breakfast: Calling all Veterans and First Responders!

As you know, SCVi will be closed Monday, November 11, in observance of Veterans Day.  The following day, Tuesday, November 12, at 9:00 a.m., we will be honoring our nation’s veterans as well as first responders with a brief flag ceremony in the courtyard of the Lower School followed by a welcome breakfast. 

Many SCVi families were directly affected by the recent wildfires in Santa Clarita. We are grateful to the brave men and women who kept iLEAD schools and our valley safe over the last few weeks and humbled by their service. Therefore, we would like to invite first responders to attend and be recognized during our flag ceremony and welcome breakfast as well.

SCVi will be collecting donations to distribute to families who lost homes or belongings due to the fires. Donations may be dropped off at The Cafe on Tuesday, November 12. 

All are welcome to attend the flag ceremony. Veterans and first responders are encouraged to attend the flag ceremony and welcome breakfast in uniform to be recognized for their service.

Reminder:  We are a secure campus. Please arrive early to check in with the front desk with your photo ID. Thank you for keeping our campus safe!
