June 6: Civil War-Era Living History Day at Rancho Camulos
This year will be the 6th Annual Civil War Living History Day brought to our SCVi Charter School community, and we hope you’ll join us!
In collaboration with iLEAD Encino 8th grade, our learners will transport our audience back to the 1860s and will display a time-period battle, cotillion, mock trial, scientific inventions and innovations, abolitionist rally, schoolhouse display, etiquette lessons, and much more.
This event is not only one that demonstrates the learners’ understanding of the topic, but is also a great fundraiser for the historic Rancho Camulos Museum. The event is open to the public and admission is just $5.
Come prepared as we will have some great food and beverages available for purchase at the Civil War Living History Event from Lorraine’s Catering, Pieology, and Kona Ice! Bring Cash if possible for your purchase!
We are excited to see you on June 6 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Rancho Camulos (off Highway 126, click below for map & directions).
