Message from the Leadership Team for March 27, 2017
Hello SCVi Families and Friends,
The end of the day has come and parents rush to school to pick up their beloveds. The car ride home provides a captive audience and opportunity to reflect on the day. However, ask many parents how their kids respond to, “What did you do in school today?” and they will tell you the answer is often, “Nothing.”
As parents of learners at SCVi, we can attest, this is rarely the response of our kids, but we’ve also learned to ask the same question in several different ways to elicit a more detailed and authentic response.
Below are links to articles to help you initiate driving questions while you’re driving home, chatting at the dinner table or just winding down while saying goodnight.
