Pardee Homes: Santa Clarita School Fosters Young Filmmakers
“At Aliento, we’re excited about all the things happening in and around our community and we want to share them with you. This February, two local high school students were featured on an episode of “Eye on the Valley” on KHTS Radio for their award-winning work creating their own feature-length films. They say their Santa Clarity Valley school inspired them to write, produce, direct and act in them.
“Griffin Loch and Skylar Vekouteren attend Santa Clarita Valley International School (SCVi), which is just 13 miles from Aliento. The two young filmmakers give SCVi credit for allowing them to design parts of their curriculum based on their passion for film so they could further pursue their dreams of creating movies.
“SCVi is just one of the highly rated schools in the area that helps its students excel in and out of the classroom.”
