SCVi Charter Renewed!

Dear SCVi Families,

We are thrilled to announce that SCVi’s charter has been renewed for another five years by the William S. Hart Union High School District Board of Directors!

Many in our SCVi community attended the Board meeting wearing blue in solidarity with our friends at Saugus High, and many brought supportive signs to be posted for Saugus High’s reopening day December 2. Please continue to drop off signs at SCVi’s office.

Regarding our petition for renewal, the Board reported that SCVi has demonstrated increases in academic performance across all learner groups. Based upon their comprehensive review and analysis of our petition, District staff recommended the Governing Board approve our petition for renewal, and they indeed voted unanimously to approve our petition for renewal. We will continue to work toward increasing performance for all learners. 

Thank you, families, for standing with us during this renewal process. Together we have built an extraordinary learning community, and we are grateful to each and every one of you for that.

We are honored to have the Board’s continuing support as we focus on continued growth, with a continued emphasis on our founding principles.
