Seniors, Families Invited to COC Information Nights

On behalf of College of the Canyons, high school seniors and their families are invited to an Information Night on Wednesday, January 11, or Thursday, January 12 from 6 to 8 p.m. on the College of the Canyons Valencia campus.

This event is designed to provide prospective students with an opportunity to meet college faculty, students and staff and learn about the college’s academic programs, the admissions process, and student services.

Students have many options for achieving their educational goals by attending College of the Canyons. Whether a student chooses to start at COC and then transfer to a four-year university/college, finishes at COC by earning a certificate or associate degree, or just completes a class in between semesters while attending a four-year university/college, College of the Canyons can help!

College faculty and students will be available from 6-6:30 p.m. to share information and answer questions about their 150 academic programs.

The presentation, provided in English and Spanish, will review the various educational pathways available to students, including transfer preparation, associate degrees and certificates, the admissions process and how to earn an early registration date for fall 2017, and available student support services.
