7th Annual Vision in Education Benefit Dinner Exceeds Expectations!
Thank you for all the support from our SCVi facilitators and families who made this year’s Benefit Dinner a huge success.
This year’s theme — HOW BIG IS YOUR BRAVE? — was beautifully represented by brave literary characters throughout time. Our esteemed guests included this year’s honorees Carl Goldman and Jeri Seratti-Goldman, along with California Assemblyman Scott Wilk, Council Member Mitchell Inglander, Congressman Steve Knight representing California’s 25th District, along with our very own Founder’s Vision Awardees Danijela Kuric and Gris Ibarra and Family Vision Awardees, the Hild Family, for their outstanding dedication to iLEAD’s ideals.
Our lovely tent reception displayed beautiful baskets for the silent auction along with the cast of SCVi’s Little Woman and Civil War Reenactment learners sharing the spirit of project-based learning with the visiting community. The evening continued inside the Shakespeare Theatre, where California Assemblymen Scott Wilk and his lovely wife Vanessa hosted. Spectacular stage entertainment included introducing the SSEP Space Program, Upper School 1920s Dancers, and a spirited live auction. The program ended with a gracious bow from the Little Woman cast. The funds from the silent and live auctions will infuse the school with new technologies and opportunities, as this year’s event brought in over 40% more funds than last year’s!
Thank you again to our valued volunteers:
Melissa Nilsen, Tracy Hild, Robert McPeters, Judy Tons, Staci Mickelson, Anita Komick, Sarah Baez, Mike, Michelle Wong, Stephen Llorens, Michelle, Heneise, Shellie O’Brian, Cheralyn Goeckeritz, Louise Salters, Laura Herandez, Annette Mandez – Rubay, Sally Wong, Christine Brown, Hanna Mathess, Emmy Hayes, Shawn Blackwell , Stu Greenburg, Kym Shearman, Matt Shearman, Ide Ramirez, SCVi Ambassadors, Upper School Tech Department, IB Music, choir learners, Civil War Reenactors, 1920s Dancers, and the cast of Little Woman.
