Put on your best beret, grab a cup of joe and pull up a seat for a night of spoken word poetry as upper school learners present their classic poems and responses to earn a spot on SCVi’s first Get Lit Words Ignite Grand Slam Team.

Since last semester, 9th-12th grade learners in English and humanities classes have been immersed in the spoken word, crafting responses to classic poems and preparing a spoken word performance.

A coffee truck and snack bar will be available for making purchases.
