Community Donations
give-donation-jar.jpg For those interested in assisting with donations to our local community, we have a box in the lower school lobby to help facilitate bringing those donations to Santa Clarita families in need. As mentioned in previous editions of the Monday Message, 16 percent of the families who call Santa Clarita home earn less than $29,999 a year. And 43 percent of the clients served by the Santa Clarita Food Pantry are children. Often families in need are left with the difficult choice of purchasing either food or hygiene items, knowing that having both in their home is not an option. We hope some of our SCVi families can help at the holiday time by donating to our collection bin. Items most needed include the following:

Breakfast cereal
Dish-washing soap
Laundry soap
Bread
Shampoo/conditioner
Toilet paper
Paper towels

In addition, grocery store gift cards (Ralphs/Sprouts) as well as discount stores (Target/Walmart) would be most helpful. Please consider leaving items in the bin available in the lower school lobby. Gift cards can be handed to our admin staff in the lower school admin office.
