Girl Scouts Seek Donations for Outdoor Classroom Project

Girl Scout Troop 7192 hopes you had a lovely spring break! We have been hard at work collecting and purchasing supplies to begin construction on the TK/K/1 and 2-8 outdoor classroom spaces.

Aqua Flo provided us a 50 percent discount on our PVC needs, and Ralphs gave us a $20 gift card. Mrs. Latimer has provided us with some paint in the school colors. We have spent about $210 of our cookie sales earnings on other supplies, but are still in need of a few items. Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated! If you are able to donate any of the following, please contact Ms. Tina at 310.980.5821 or bring them to Ms. Marilyn in K/1 or Mrs. Thieme in 2/3 by Friday, April 28.

• a can of a clear outdoor wood furniture sealer/varnish
• paint brushes, about 2″ wide
• coarse sand paper/sanding blocks
• cargo netting, with about 3″ square openings
• gift cards to Joann’s or hobby lobby (for cushion foam and canvas fabric)
