Message from the Administrative Team

Hello SCVi Families and Friends,

We have so many things to celebrate this month! Our learners continue to amaze us and turn conventional thinking and learning on its head. Our 8th and 10th grade learners dug deep during last week’s visit with Al Bowers, chief scientist from NASA Armstrong. He was thrilled and overwhelmed by the level of questions from our learners! In addition, our Student Spaceflight Experiment Program (SSEP) team celebrated with our teammate and sister school, iLEAD Pacoima, on their selection (and our submission) of an experiment that will be launched to the International Space Station in August.

Our upper school boys basketball team took their talent all of the way to playoffs! Our seniors were honored by Athletic Director Casey Blaszczyk, who presented each with the signature red rose to signify the conclusion of their high school sports career. Speaking of seniors, we are so thrilled for our seniors as their college acceptances roll in! We are so proud of their tenacity!

Our Inspiration Generation team really brought their A game last week and their baking brawn to show appreciation for our neighborhood firefighters and police officers. Our team showed up unannounced with goodies in hand and the rest is history. We look forward to sharing more stories of growth as we grow.
