Message from the Directors
Hello SCVi Families and Friends,
We are excited to share with you Upper School Information Night on Wednesday, February 22. Upper School Information Night is an opportunity to meet the upper school staff, school leadership, our full-time college counselor and the whole team who work hard make our program the best it can be for your incoming learners. This evening is open to SCVi parents and your friends who are considering SCVi for their high-school-aged learners. Please be sure to share with your friends.
We have a unique opportunity at SCVi’s Upper School to work with learners in a small, project-based learning environment. Our learners are engaged in a variety of opportunities for growth, including but not limited to A-G approved courses that prepare each learner for UC level entrance and collegiate-level electives including:
Interning and entrepreneurship
The arts and show production
Speech and debate
Crime and punishment
Y ou will learn about our CIF sports program, our International Baccalaureate program, as well as the inner workings of the Upper School, which prepares our students for college and beyond.
We are very proud of the accomplishments of our graduates and current learners. See below for the exciting list of the colleges and universities our learners have been invited to attend (so far).
Prior to our information evening, our 8th grade learners will spend a “day in the life” of a high school student. We look forward to helping them prepare for the continuum of the amazing education they’ve received thus far. We hope to see you on February 22 from 6 to 8 p.m.
Have a wonderful week,
Lisa Latimer & Kimberly Matthes
