Volunteer’s Oath
As a volunteer of SCVi Charter School, I will honestly and faithfully abide by the following:
1. I agree to comply with all school policies while interacting with learners and staff during my volunteering time.
2. I understand that in my time on campus I may be privy to some confidential or personal information about a learner, their family, or staff member. Furthermore, I agree to keep all private information private and not repeat or release any such information to anyone else unless specifically authorized to do so by administration. This includes but is not limited to removing any information from the school.
Fund-raising and Parent Groups
SCVi has two groups that work together to meet the needs of our school community in the classroom, at events, and in many other ways. The Scarlet Foundation focuses on fund-raising efforts, and our parent group, iSupport, organizes volunteer efforts.

Mission statement:
iSupport is a parent and caregiver led volunteer group that aims to enrich SCVi and the broader iLEAD community. We work closely with the SCVi administration and staff to ensure that our work matches the goals of the community we serve. Our group strives to support our school- staff, learners, and events; providing a bridge between school and home.

Morning Valet
Morning Valet is a safe and quick way to drop off your student in the morning. Avoid the traffic at the front of the school. Visit us between 8:00 am and 8:45 am each day. We can use more volunteers, especially on Monday mornings. Please contact volunteers@scvi-k12.org for more information.
Cafe Crew
Join the Cafe in maintaining a clean and pleasant cafe for all. Come in between the hours of 10:30 am and 1:00 pm to help wipe down tables, sweep floors and be a great host or hostess. Please email volunteers@scvi-k12.org for more information or to sign up
Crossing Guard
We are looking for friendly volunteers to be a crossing guard in the mornings from 8:15 am – 8:45 am and possibly from 3:15 pm to 4:00 pm in the afternoons. We provide a very stylish vest, flag and stop sign. Please email volunteers@scvi-k12.org for more information or to sign up.
Lost & Found
We need someone who can manage our lost and found by putting the items out on a regular basis, writing a blurb for our Monday Message and donating the items during our breaks and at the end of the year. Please email volunteers@scvi-k12.org for more information or to sign up.
Morning Gate Supervision
We are looking for someone who is cheerful in the mornings from 8:00 am to 8:45 am to welcome all learners into the yard and supervise the gate. Please email volunteers@scvi-k12.org for more information or to sign up.
School Tours
We hold school tours on the 1st Tuesday and 3rd Thursday of each moth unless we are not in session. The tours are always held at 9:30 am can can go as long as one hour. We would train you in giving a tour. Please email volunteers@scvi-k12.org for more information or to sign up.
